Build an anti-racist LGBT movement at Creating Change
As part of the 2012 National Conference on LGBT Equality: Creating Change in Baltimore, we’ll hold our annual Racial Justice Institute on Wednesday, Jan. 25. Participants will explore the intersections of race and sexuality and power and privilege. Most importantly, we’ll learn how to integrate racial justice tools into all the organizing work we do.
Through storytelling, conversation and activities, participants from across the progressive movement will come away with the tools they need to create an anti-racist movement.
Whether you’re a seasoned activist or a just getting your feet wet, the Racial Justice Institute is a good way to get started at this year’s Creating Change! Not only will you gain valuable skills, you’ll have a chance to network with other activists and build the power of the LGBT grassroots.
