Rallying to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”

December 10, 2010

A large crowd gathered in front of the Capitol today for the “Mission: Incomplete” rally for the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”

Speakers urged Congress to stay in session until “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” is repealed this year, and the crowd chanted “Don’t go home! Don’t go home!” to the senators.

Today, Senators Joe Lieberman (I-Conn) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) introduced a new stand-alone bill to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” We can get this done before the end of the year, but we need your help! Call your senators at 202.224.3131 and urge them to stay in session to vote for the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” this year.
