Take Action: Tell your senators to repeal ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ NOW!

September 20, 2010

The Senate is scheduled to vote this week on the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” The usual anti-equality suspects are threatening a filibuster to make sure that DADT can’t even come to a vote.

We need you to pick up the phone and call your senators and remind them that polls prove that 78 percent of Americans want this discriminatory law repealed – once and for all.

Call the Capitol Switchboard at 202.224.3121 and ask to speak to your senator. Then call back and ask to speak with your other senator. Two calls can really make all the difference.

We have a chance to make history. Please, make just two calls today. If you get voice mail be sure to leave a message.

We can end the military witch hunts against patriotic lesbian, gay and bisexual service members and slam the closet door on a shameful chapter in our nation’s history.

Enough is enough.
