- Google will continue its leadership in the realm of fair compensation and benefits for same-sex employees. The company announced that it will cover the tax charged to LGBT people whose partners are covered by their health insurance plan.
- Waiting lists for the AIDS Drugs Assistance Program (ADAP) have grown since the economic downturn has impacted the government’s ability to fund the program. Over 1,800 Americans are on the waiting list.
- In addition to the questions she fielded on “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and employment discrimination, Elena Kagan was asked yesterday about marriage equality. Check out video of her answers at Towleroad.
