On June 22, Task Force staffer Janice Thom was honored by Queens Borough President Helen Marshall for her years of volunteer service as a board member of Heritage of Pride. Janice’s work at the Task Force was also mentioned by openly gay Queens Councilperson Jimmy Van Bramer, who nominated Thom for the honor.
