Training on transgender issues in the workplace

The Task Force recently shared its expertise on transgender issues in the workplace with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and many human resource managers and lawyers throughout the agencies of the federal government. The EEOC hosted the informal training which was conducted by Lisa Mottet, director of the Task Force’s Transgender Civil Rights Project; Mara Keisling, executive director of the National Center for Transgender Equality; and two attorneys from the Department of Justice.
