Congress could move on “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” today. Don’t wait, take action now.

May 27, 2010

Legislation to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” is likely to move in both the House of Representatives and the Senate Armed Services Committee as early as today.

We need you to keep the pressure on your representatives in Congress, so please call your representatives and senators today!

Votes could begin today, so don’t put off calling. Call the U.S. Capitol Switchboard at 202.224.3121. Give the operator your zip code and ask to be connected to your representative. Tell them to include DADT repeal as an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011, that you are a constituent and that you vote. If you can’t reach someone, be sure and leave a message. All calls are counted!

Your call can help change the lives of courageous lesbian, gay and bisexual service members who have been forced to serve under an unfair discriminatory policy for far too long.
